The couple chose to put their company’s name as Tiga Serangkai (TS) because of commemorate meritorious of Toko Buku Tiga which responsibled to publish their books at the first time before the books had tremendously increased in demand and at that time they were proposed by the owner of Toko Buku Tiga to set up their own company because the prospect was good in the future. Then TS was set up and its first place of operation was in Sukoharjo, Central Java.
The couple has managed TS very well. So in 1972, they moved their operation to Solo and have developed a well-proper printing and publishing company at Dr. Supomo No.23 Street where can be considered as a strategic location because it is located at the town. In 1980 until 1987, this company started to buy and use a modern and high-technology machine so that they can produce their products more efficiently as well as to improve the quality of the products in order to fulfill the customer’s need and want.
